S ".299 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 89-215 , PARTIALLY AMENDED BY ( RESOLUTION NO. 89-239 , BY: A. (1) DELETING, AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 , THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN; AND (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 . B. (1) DELETING THE EXISTING EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 ; AND (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 . WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan and Employee Classi- fication Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established by Resolution No. 89-215 , and partially amended by Resolution No. 89-239; AND WHEREAS , staff has recommended that Resolution No. 89-215 , partially amended by Resolution No. 89-239 , be further amended by: A. (1) DELETING, AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 , THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN; AND Rescinded by Resolution 90-546 �, 410 (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY I ' REFERENCE, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 . B. (1) DELETING THE EXISTING EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 ; AND (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 . AND WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that Resolution No. 89-215 , partially amended by Resolution No. 89-239 , be and hereby is further amended by: A. (1) DELETING, AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 , THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN; AND (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 . B. (1) DELETING THE EXISTING EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, SEPTEMBER 2 , 1989 ; AND -2- (2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN AS SET FORTH IN THE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 3 , 1989 .
