RESOLUTION NO. 7-01 `/y
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING ITS SCHEDULE OF FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES.
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding is charged
with the responsibility of establishing municipal policies to
guide the various functions of the City, and, where necessary, to
establish procedures by which functions are performed; and
WHEREAS, regulatory policies established by the City Council
are usually adopted by Ordinance and included in the Municipal
Code. However, other policies are also established, which by
their nature do not require adoption by Ordinance; these policy
statements , adopted by Resolution of the City Council, need to be
consolidated in a reference document for easy access; and
WHEREAS , on October 4 , 1988 , by Resolution No. 88-364 , the
City Council adopted a Schedule of Fees and Service Charges,
subsequently amended by Resolutions 88-410 , 89-56 , 89-92 , and
89-196 ; and
WHEREAS , under Resolution No. 88-364 , the City Manager is
authorized and directed to revise, supplement, and maintain said
Fee Schedule so that to the greatest extent possible the Schedule
will be a comprehensive list of fees for City permits and
services; and that a fee that is not on the Schedule will not be
invalid but should be made a part of the Schedule at the earliest
possible time; and
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to further amend said Fee
Schedule to include selected Planning Permit Fee increases;
NOW, THEREFORE , IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that the current Schedule of Fees and Service
