A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF
INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER
CHAPTER 9 . 36 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 780 . WOODACRE DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF
REDDING (OWNED BY HEIDI MARIE BULLERT AND K. ERIC BULLERT) .
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding
Municipal Code provide that all buildings or structures located
within the City of Redding which are structurally unsafe or are
dilapidated from old age, neglect, decay or other causes which
constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life or a
likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a
nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and there-
after
abated as provided therein; and
WHEREAS , the Building Official of the City of Redding has
made an inspection of the building and abandoned swimming pool
located on the real property as hereinafter described and has
declared them to be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety, health, and
public welfare; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor-

ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that it is the intention of this City Council to
begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9 . 36 of the
Redding Municipal Code on the property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said building and abandoned

swimming pool mentioned hereinabove are hereby declared a public
nuisance as provided by Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal
Code and are hereby ordered to be abated by repair, rehabilita-
tion, demolition, or removal; or, in the case of the swimming
pool, by complete filling in.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board
of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all
proceedings provided in Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal
Code .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of. the City of
Ili Redding be and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Shasta County Recorder
for recordation.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 6th day of June , 1989 , and
