� IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
� Redding as follows:
' 1 . That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
approves the Agreement bet��een the City of Redding and Mechanical
' Maintenance Planning, Inc. for heating and air conditioning
� maintenance services for the period Janua.ry 1 , 1989 , through
December 31 , 1992 , a true copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
2 . That the Mayor of the Cit�,� of Redding is hereby

� authorized and directed to sign said Agreement on behalf of_ the ,
City of Reddinq, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and �
, directed to attest the signature of the Mayor and to impress the i

' official seal of the Citv of Redding on the aforesaid document, �

�I save harmless City, its officers, agents, and employees, from any
�; and all liability, loss , cost, or obligation on account of or (

of any change in the terms hereof or of terr:iination shall be

II'I It is the intent and purpose of this specification to obtain
' complete preventive maintenance for the heating and air I
'I conditioning unit/units at the various locations noted in the
foregoing bid proposal as set forth in "EXHIBIT A" . +
�� The work to be performed by the Contractor under this specification I
�I shall consist of furnishing all material, labor, tools and
N� equipment necessary to provide preventive maintenance inspection
li� anc servicing on all the air conditioning, heating and ventilating
, �quipment, anfl all controls and ancillary equip��nt thereto, at the i
� � various locations as noted in the bid pre�osal. All belts, �,
, �,, filters, grease, oil, chemical, test kits, l�or and all other
�, related materials required for preventive mai�tenance shall be
�i previded by the contractor and included in the cost as noted in his ,
' bi� proposal . No charges will be made for c�eaning evaporators,
�� shell and tube condensers or air cooled conde-sers . In addition,
no eharge will be made for belts or for t�eir replacement or
� ad=:ustment. I

'� The cor.tractor shall be responsible for exter:�ing all parts and '
� ?a�or warrantv' s replaced or installed by t'�e contractor. IF ��
� established, the contractor will also be respe-._ible for extending ;
I the warranty on parts replaced or instal:ed by a previous �
co�tractor including all manufacturers warran�:' s against defects 4
�;� in material , parts and equipment to a maximt:^ period of 90 days

' from start up or completion.
I Co�tractor shall submit an equipment and system condition report to
" t�e Cit` of Redding upon request. I

Co-tractor will be periodically evaluated on =_n overall cost per �
b' facility basis . Maintenance and repair cost� will be considered

frequency of service call , ete.

equipment list upon completion of first maintenaace. Listing shall I

include equipment make, model, serial number and location. I

regularly serviced on a 60 day basis, unless otherwise indicated
