Section 10 .20 .030 , Park Hours, of the Redding Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting subsection A. 1 . in its entirety, and substituting the following subsection A. 1 . therefor: � I I A. 1 . It is an infraction for any person to go in or 1; upon or be within the boundaries of the following '; parks: Alta Mesa Park Amethyst Park Benton Airpark Bob White Park Buckeye Community Park Caldwell Memorial Park Carnelian Park ' Cascade Community Park Clover Creek Neighborhood Park Foothill Park Foxtail Neighborhood Park Graham Park Hawn Neighborhood Park Lake Redding Park Library Park Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park (expressly excluding therefrom the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center Building) Mary Lake Park Old City Hall Park Peppertree Park �h . 411 ,til Riverfront Park .0 Rolling Hills Neighborhood Park South City Park (defined as all park and recreational fields and facilities in the area bounded by South Market Street, Parkview Avenue, Grape Avenue, and Cypress Street) T.R. Woods Memorial Park Turtle Bay Park and Valley Ridge Park between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. ; or go in or upon or be within the boundaries of the East Turtle Bay Park between the hours of sunset and sunrise. Section 12 . Section 10 . 20 .040 , Possession or Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in City Parks, of the Redding Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting subsections B. 1 . and B. 2 . in their entirety, and substituting the following subsections B. 1 . and B. 2 . therefor: B. 1 . Except as set forth in subsection B. 2 . following, it is unlawful for any person to possess or consume any alcoholic beverage at any time within the boundaries or the parking lots of the following parks: Alta Mesa Park Amethyst Park Benton Airpark Bob White Park Buckeye Community Park Caldwell Memorial Park Carnelian Park Cascade Community Park Clover Creek Neighborhood Park Foothill Park Foxtail Neighborhood Park Graham Park Hawn Neighborhood Park Lake Redding Park Library Park Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park (expressly excluding therefrom the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center Building) -2- „I Iasi . • • Mary Lake Park Old City Hall Park Peppertree Park Rolling Hills Neighborhood Park South City Park Sulphur Creek Campground T.R. Woods Memorial Park Turtle Bay Park Valley Ridge Park. 2 . This prohibition shall not apply within the interiors of the following buildings: Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Center Building Senior Citizens Hall Redding Museum and Art Center Carter House Museum or within: Riverfront Park Lake Redding Park I` Caldwell Memorial Park i(, South City Park, or 111 Alta Mesa Park during such times as sponsored events are taking 14 place within the confines of such buildings and hl parks; provided that if alcoholic beverages are to be served within such buildings or parks, the sponsor has: a. First complied with the provisions of Section 2 . 56 . 120 ; appeals from decisions of the Director of Parks and Recreation shall be made directly to the City Council; b. Obtained any necessary alcoholic beverage control permit for the event; c. Posted with the City Clerk a damage and cleanup deposit in the sum of $300 ; d. Filed with the Risk Manager a Certi- ficate evidencing public liability insurance coverage for the event in the form and amount approved by the Risk Manager; and e. First complied with the provisions of Resolution No. 4148 and any amendments thereto on file in the office of the -3- • ► City Clerk relating to the use of parks ' f and recreation areas. 3 . Violation of this subsection B shall be an infraction. Section 3 . It has been determined that this matter is not subject to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act. Section 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
