The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as follows : Section 1 . Title 18 , Zoning, of the Redding Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a new Chapter 18 .35 as follows: Chapter 18 . 35 "SP" SPECIFIC PLAN COMBINING DISTRICT Sections: 18 . 35 .010 Purpose 18 .35 . 020 Uses Permitted 18 . 35 .030 Uses Prohibited 18 . 35 . 040 Site-Development Standards. 18 . 35 . 010 Purpose. The "SP" Specific Plan Combining District may be applied as an additional zone classification to land zoned any other zone classification of this Title. By combining the "SP" District with any other zoning district, areas where a specific plan has been adopted will be identified. Areas zoned "SP" shall be subject to compliance with policies and standards of an approved specific plan. 18 .35 . 020 Uses Permitted. The provisions of the district to which this Combining District is added shall apply unless the specific plan further restricts uses . The Use Permit and Administrative Use Permit provisions of this Title shall apply. u � f. • • 18 . 35 . 030 Uses Prohibited. The provisions of the district to which this Combining District is added shall apply unless the specific plan identifies additional prohibited uses . 18 . 35 . 040 Site-Development Standards. The site-development standards of the principal district to which this Combining District is added shall apply, together with the provisions of the specific plan. In the case of conflict r ;. between the two, the more restrictive regulation shall prevail. Section 2 . It has been determined that this matter is not subject to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act. Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
