RESOLUTION NO. 9 7-,x}90
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE REPORT AND ACCOUNT OF THE COSTS
OF ABATEMENT OF THE BUILDING AND DEBRIS ON THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2753 DOWNARD LANE IN THE CITY OF REDDING, OWNED
BY BETTY J. HANKS .
WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal of the City of Redding has
submitted to the City Council, for confirmation, the attached
report and account of the costs of abatement of the building and
debris on the property owned by Betty J. Hanks, being Assessor' s
Parcel No. 067-160-06 , located at 2753 Downard Lane , Redding,
California, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein.
WHEREAS , the removal work done on said property, for which
said costs were incurred, was done pursuant to the provisions of
the City Code, and the owner of the subject property was notified
in advance of all proceedings herein as provided for in said
Code; and
WHEREAS,• it has been determined that this matter is
categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redding does hereby approve and confirm the report and
account of the costs of removal of the building and debris on the
subject property. These costs shall constitute a lien on said

property and shall be collected in the manner as ordinary taxes
by the Tax Collector of the County of Shasta, acting for the City
of Redding. The City Clerk of the City of Redding is directed to
send a copy of this Resolution and the report of the Fire Marshal
herein to the County Auditor of Shasta County, certified mail,
for that purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 7th day of August , 1990 , and
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:

follows:
All that portion of the West one-half of the Northwest one-
quarter of the Southwest one-quarter of Section 5, Township 31
North, Range 4 West, M.D.B. &M. , according to the official plat
thereof, described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Southwest corner of the Northwest one-quarter
of the Southwest one-quarter of Section 5, Township 31 North,
Range 4 West; thence, along the South line of the North one-half
