A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING ITS SCHEDULE OF FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding is charged
with the responsibility of establishing municipal policies to
guide the various functions of the City, and, where necessary,
to establish procedures by which functions are performed; and
WHEREAS , regulatory policies established by the City Coun-
cil are usually adopted by Ordinance and included in the Munici-
pal Code. However, other policies are also established, which
by their nature do not require adoption by Ordinance; these
policy statements, adopted by Resolution of the City Council,
need to be consolidated in a reference document for easy refer-

, ence document for easy access; and
WHEREAS, on October 4 , 1988 , by Resolution No. 88-364 , the
City Council adopted a Schedule of Fees and Service Charges,
subsequently amended by Resolutions 88-410 , 89-56 , 89-92 , 89-
196 , 89-244 , 89-251 , and 90-224 ; and.
WHEREAS, under Resolution No. 88-364 , the City Manager is
authorized and directed to revise, supplement, and maintain said
Fee Schedule so that to the greatest extent possible the Sched-
ule will be a comprehensive list of fees for City permits and
services; and that a fee that is not on the Schedule will not be
invalid but should he made a part of the Schedule at the earli-
est possible time; and
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to further amend said Fee
Schedule to include an increase for the cost of living adjust-

ment, and establish fees for permits for Second Hand Dealers,
Solicitors and Peddlers, Cardroom Employees/Owners and various
recreation programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Redding that the current Schedule of Fees and
Service Charges is hereby deleted in its entirety, and replaced
by the Schedule of Fees and Service Charges attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 19th day of June , 1990 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
