A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF R.EDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 89-215 , PARTIALLY AMENDED BY
RESOLUTION NOS . 89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , AND 90-82 BY (1)
DELETING THE EXISTING EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-
PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, MARCH 31 , 1990 ; AND
(2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE
MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE
APRIL 1 , 1990 .
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Plan established by Resolution No.
89-215 , partially amended by Resolution Nos. 89-239 , 89-299 ,
89-314 , and 90-82 ; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended that Resolution No. 89-215 as
amended by Resolution Nos. 89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , and 90-82 be
amended by (1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay-
for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, March 31 , 1990 ; and
(2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
effective April 1 , 1990 ; and
WHEREAS , City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that Resolution No. 89-215 as amended by
Resolution Nos. 89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , and 90-82 be and hereby

is amended by (1) deleting the existing Executive Management
Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, March 31 , 1990;
and (2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, effective April 1 , 1990 .
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 3rd day of April, 1990 , and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
