A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING CITY
COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 89-304 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 5, 1989, CORRECTING
MAP AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF T_HE BOUNDARIES OF THE CANBY-HILLTOP-CYPRESS
REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California
(Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq. ) provides authority for the
designation and description by resolution of survey areas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 89-304, adopted on September
5, 1989, amended the redevelopment survey area designated for the
Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Redevelopment Project (the "Project") to add additional
area and determined that said additional area required study to determine if a
redevelopment project or projects within the added area are feasible; and
WHEREAS, there were technical errors in the map and legal description of
Resolution No. 89-304 that need to be corrected.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The map of the Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Redevelopment Survey
Area attached to Resolution No.. 89-304 as Exhibit A is hereby replaced with
the map of the Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Redevelopment Survey Area, attached
hereto as Exhibit A (Revised) , and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The legal description of the Canby-Hilltop-Cypress
Redevelopment Survey Area attached to Resolution No. 89-304 as Exhibit B is
hereby replaced with the legal description of the Canby-Hilltop-Cypress
Redevelopment Survey Area, attached hereto as Exhibit B (Revised) , and
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 3. All other provisions of City Council Resolution Nd. 89-304,
adopted on September 5, 1989, shall remain in full force and effect.
