HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1990-082 - Amending resolution NO.89-215 partially amended by resolution NOS.89-239, 89-299 and 89-314 RESOLUTION NO. 70-512— A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 89-215 , PARTIALLY AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NOS . 89-239 , 89-299 , AND 89-314 BY (1) DELETING THE EXISTING EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, JANUARY 6 , 1990 ; AND (2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE JANUARY 7 , 1990 . WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Plan established by Resolution No. 89-215 , partially amended by Resolution Nos. 89-239 , 89-299 , and 89-314 ; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended that Resolution No. 89-215 as amended by Resolution Nos. 89-239 , 89-299 , and 89-314 be amended by (1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, January 6 , 1990; and (2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference effective January 7 , 1990 ; and WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that Resolution No. 89-215 as amended by Resolution Nos . 89-239 , 89-299 , and 89-314 be and hereby is amended by (1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay- Rescinded by Resolution 90-546 III for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, January 6 , 1990 ; and (2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, effective January 7 , 1990 .
