A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1342 AND 1370
LAKESIDE DRIVE (A-5-89) .
WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways,
and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code
Section 8300 , et seq. ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that the hereinafter described real property is not
necessary for present or prospective street right-of-way
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding
hereby resolves and orders as follows :
1 . City Council makes the following findings in connection
herewith:
(a) The project is compatible with the Redding General
Plan;
(b) The project will not significantly alter the
existing land form;
(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding
land use; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding
Municipal Code.
2 . That certain real property in the City of Redding,
County of Shasta, State of California, being a portion of public
right-of-way adjacent to property located at 1342 and 1370
Lakeside Drive, as the same is more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" and the map attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference , be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned as
a street right-of-way.

3 . The City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is
directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested
to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in
the office of the Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 6th day of February 1990 , and was
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS : Buffum, Dahl , Ful ton, Johannessen, & Carter
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS : None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
