HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1990-073 - Abatement junk and debris on the property located at 2361 4 RESOLUTION NO. 90 -7.3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE REPORT AND ACCOUNT OF THE COSTS OF ABATEMENT OF THE JUNK AND DEBRIS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2361 WAVERLY AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDDING, OWNED BY THE UNITED STATES SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY OWEN R. AND MARY L. BROWN) . WHEREAS , the Fire Marshal of the City of Redding has submitted to the City Council, for confirmation, the attached report and account of the costs of abatement of the junk and debris on the property owned by the United States Small Business Administration (previously owned by Owen R. and Mary L. Brown) , being Assessor' s Parcel No. 050-440-22 , located at 2361 Waverly Avenue, Redding, California, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. WHEREAS , the removal work done on said property, for which said costs were incurred, was done pursuant to the provisions of the City Code, and the owners of the subject property were notified in advance of all proceedings herein as provided for in said Code; and WHEREAS , it has been determined that this matter is categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding does hereby approve and confirm the report and account of the costs of removal of the junk and debris on the 411 , 411 subject property. These costs shall constitute a lien on said property and shall be collected in the manner as ordinary taxes by the Tax Collector of the County of Shasta, acting for the City of Redding. The City Clerk of the City of Redding is directed to send a copy of this Resolution and the report of the Fire Marshal herein to the County Auditor of Shasta County, certified mail, for that purpose. Reading Grant described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pipe, marked L.S. 2208, set at the intersection line between Sections 24 and 27 of the P.B. Reading Grant and running thence, North 41 degrees 53 ' East, a distance of 371.12 feet to an iron pipe marked L.S. 2208; thence, South 37 degrees 00 ' East, a distance of 341.00 feet to an iron pipe marked L.S. 2208; thence, South 41 degrees 53 ' West, a distance of 19.50 feet to an iron pipe marked L.S. 2208; thence, North 88 degrees 37 ' West, a distance of 440.09 feet to the point of beginning. Reading Grant bears North 41 degrees 53 ' East, a distance of 1113 .92 feet and running thence, South 41 degrees 53 ' West, on and along said Section line a distance of 341.00 feet; thence, South 41 degrees 53 ' West, a distance of 19. 50 feet; thence, South 88 degrees 37 '34" East, a distance of 125.91 feet; thence, North 13 degrees 11'50" West, a distance of 69.30 feet; thence, North 37 degrees 00' West, a /distnace of 380.65 feet to the point of beginning.
