AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING SECTION 18. 06. 020 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF REDDING (RZ-2-90)
The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1 . That the boundaries of the districts referred to
in Section 18. 06. 020 of the Redding Municipal Code as designated on
a Map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California,"
dated March 19, 1956, are hereby altered as set forth in the maps
attached hereto and incorporated herein by:
REZONING: 21 properties located between Lake Boulevard
and July Way, southeast of St. Nicholas
Avenue, as shown and described on the maps
attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference
FROM: R3-15-F Multiple Family Residential District
and R2-RT Duplex Residential District
TO: R3-30-F Multiple Family Residential District
and CO-B10-20-F Office District, subject to
the site-plan-review criteria attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The City Council hereby ratifies the Negative
Declaration prepared for this project showing that it has no
substantial impact upon the environment and that an environmental
impact report is not necessary. - Q)
Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of

this Ordinance, and cause its publication according to law.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 19th day of February 1991, and was duly read and
adopted on the 5thday of March , 1991, at a regular meeting
of the City Council by the following vote:

Site Plan Review Criteria RZ-2-90
"CO-B10-20-F"
1. The maximum building height shall not exceed two stories.
2. Driveway locations shall be approved by the Traffic Engineer and shall consist of one
common driveway between the two "CO-B10-20-F" parcels.
3. All mechanical or air-conditioning units shall be surrounded by parapets or fencing to screen
the equipment from public view.
4. Security and parking-lot lighting shall be low-profile and oriented downward or shielded from
residences and adjoining streets.
5. A solid-masonry or solid-post with wood-insert fence shall be constructed on all property
lines adjacent to residential districts.
6. The developed site area is to be landscaped with live vegetation. The minimum planter
width along Lake Boulevard shall be 15 feet. The area between the back of the sidewalk
and the property line is to be landscaped to match the adjacent on-site planter. A
landscaping plan shall be approved by the Planning Department prior to issuance of a
building permit.
