AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING CHAPTER 11.24 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE BY
REPEALING SECTION 11.24.330 AND SUBSTITUTING THEREFOR A
NEW SECTION 11.24.330, PERTAINING TO PARKING AT THE
REDDING MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.
The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Chapter 11. 24 of the Redding Municipal Code is
hereby amended by repealing Section 11 . 24. 330 and substituting
therefor a new Section 11. 24. 330 as follows:
11.24.330. Parking at the Redding Municipal Airport.
A. Parking at the Redding Municipal Airport is hereby limited
as follows:
( 1 ) All public parking is limited to the Facilities
under contract with the vehicle paid parking
Operator.
( 2 ) Said Facilities shall mean all Airport public
parking facilities in and about the Terminal
building area at Redding Municipal Airport for
use in connection with all commercial airline
passenger traffic.
( 3 ) Said Facilities shall include all areas avail-
able to members of the general public for the
parking of vehicles, whether improved or unim-
proved, and shall specifically exclude parking
for the employees of the City; taxis; limou-
sines ; the police; persons maintaining, supply-
ing, or servicing the Airport Terminal building
or the equipment of City or its tenants; air-
lines and their Terminal building employees;
airline flight crews and flight attendants who
begin their work duty from the Redding Municipal
Airport; concessionaires and their employees;
and contractors of City and its tenants, and
shall further exclude rental motor vehicles of
on-Airport rent-a-car operators when not in
rental use.

B. It is unlawful for any person to allow any vehicle
under his control or in his custody to remain, stand
or park in unauthorized areas when properly signed and
marked or longer than time limits when properly signed
and marked as established by resolution of the City
Council.
C. The City Council may by resolution designate addi-
tional parking limitations or prohibitions and estab-
lish fees and charges at the Redding Municipal Air-
port.
Section 2 . The Airports Director shall cause to be erected
and maintained appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the
purpose of this section.
Section 3 . It has been determined that this matter is not
subject to the provisions of CEQA.
Section 4 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 2nd day of June , 1992, and was duly read and
adopted on the 16th day of June , 1992 , at a regular meeting of
the City Council by the following vote:
