HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007 - Amending Section 18.06.020 of the Redding Municipal Code y11, • 41111 ORDINANCE NO. 2007 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING SECTION 18.06.020 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING (RZ-08-92) . The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.06.020 of the Redding Municipal Code as designated on a Map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," dated March 19, 1956, are hereby altered as set forth in the maps attached hereto and incorporated herein by: REZONING: Parcels B and C as shown on the Parcel Map of a portion of the P.B. Reading Grant filed December 23, 1985, in Book 25 of Parcel Maps, page 81, Shasta County Records FROM: "CO-F" Office District TO: "CO-F" Office District with the site-plan-review criteria set forth in Exhibit A attached and incorporated by reference. Section 2. City Council has ratified the Negative Declaration prepared in connection herewith, finding that no significant effect on the environment is created hereby. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, and cause its publication according to law. The minimum building setback along Eureka Way is to be 30 feet or 15 feet south of the top of the cut bank, whichever in combination is greater. b. The maximum building height shall not exceed 708 feet in elevation. c. The minimum building setback adjacent to any "R" District shall not be less than 30 feet. d. Buildings shall be designed to preserve the backyard privacy of adjoining single-family lots. e. The 20 feet adjacent to any "R-1" District is to be landscaped. f. Parking is to be located generally in the area shown on Exhibit "A," excluding Lot "D" where either the parking shown or the alternate pattern may be utilized as also depicted on Exhibit "A." g. All cuts or banks created by fill are not to exceed 12 feet in height at the deepest point. h. Where feasible, native rocks occurring on the site are to be included in the landscaping. On cut or fill slopes, landscaping or retaining walls are to be used to hold soil in place. i. Not more than one detached sign is to be allowed per parcel. All detached signs shall be monument signs. j. Except at approved street intersections, no direct access is to be provided to Eureka Way. k. Areas not used for building or parking purposes are to be landscaped, except areas to be left in a natural state on slopes in excess of 15 percent. I. Curb, gutter, and five-foot-wide sidewalk are to be installed along all public streets at the time of development of each parcel, except along Eureka Way where the curb, gutter, and sidewalk are to be installed within 30 days of the effective date of this zone change based on the previous site-plan-review criteria.
