HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 04-06-21 - Closed Session352 Redding City Council, Special Meeting Civic Center Council Chambers 777 Cypress Avenue Redding, CA 96001 April 6, 2021, 5:00 PM Due to the increase in the spread of Covid-19 and the latest directives from the Governor and the California Department of Public Health, the Mayor has modified access to the City Council meeting to enable members of the public to attend and to make public comments. The meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Kristen Schreder with the following Council Members present: Michael Dacquisto, Mark Mezzano, and Julie Winter. Mayor Erin Resner participated telephonically. Also present were: City Manager Barry Tippin, Assistant City Manager Sheri DeMaagd, City Attorney Barry E. DeWalt, and City Clerk Pamela Mize called the roll prior to leaving the Closed Session meeting. CLOSED SESSION At the hour of 5:15 p.m., Vice Mayor Schreder opened the Special Meeting and announced that the Council would adjourn to Closed Session. 3A. Closed Session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6: CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR Designated Agency Representative: Assistant City Manager/Personnel Director DeMaagd Employee Organizations: 1. Redding Police Managers' Association; and 2. Unrepresented Employees Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1(a), the City Council took no reportable action on this item.
