HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2021-061 - Declaration of sixty-one parcels of city-owned land as surplus property, subject to the retention of easement(s), if required, for public service utilitiesRESOLUTION NO. 2021-061 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING DECLARING SIXTY-ONE PARCELS OF CITY-OWNED LAND AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, SUBJECT TO THE RETENTION OF EASEMENT(S), IF REQUIRED, FOR PUBLIC SERVICE UTILITIES; SAID PROPERTIES ARE LISTED INDIVIDUALLY IN EXHIBIT A WHEREAS, the City owns multiple parcels of land (the “Properties”); and WHEREAS, the City has determined that there is not a need to retain the designated sixty-one properties, as listed in Exhibit A, for public purposes; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council FINDS, RESOLVES, and ORDERS as follows: 1. The above recitals are true and correct. 2. The Properties are hereby declared surplus, subject to the retention of an easement(s), if required, for public service purposes. 3. Sale of the Properties by the City is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15312 of the CEQA Guidelines (Surplus Government Property Sales).
