AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING SECTION
18.06.020 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE REZONING OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING (RZ-21-92).
The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section
18.06.020 of the Redding Municipal Code as designated on a Map entitled "Zoning Map of
the City of Redding, California," dated March 19, 1956, are hereby altered as set
forth in the map attached hereto and incorporated herein by:
REZONING: 3584 through 3700 Railroad Avenue
FROM: "RM-6-F" Multiple Family Residential District
TO: "RM-9-F" Multiple Family Residential District, with the site
plan review criteria set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. City Council has ratified the Negative Declaration prepared in
connection herewith, finding that no significant effect on the environment is created
hereby.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, and
cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and read at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 2nd day of Fehrj=y,
1993, and was duly read and adopted on the 16th day of EebLUdry 1993, at a regular
meeting of the City Council by the following vote:

BITE PLAN REVIEW CRITERIA
RZ-21-92
1. An acoustical analysis shall be submitted with each
building permit application,which stipulates the
construction measures to be taken to achieve interior
noise levels of 40 dba in sleeping quarters and 45 dba
in other living areas. The analysis shall specifically
consider noise from the Southern Pacific Railroad and
future traffic volume projections for Railroad Avenue.
The methodology and format of the analysis shall be
subject to approval by the Department of Planning and
Community Development.
2. Building setbacks from Railroad Avenue shall be 30 feet,
and shall be established based on an ultimate right-of-
way width of 84 feet. Parking setbacks shall be a
minimum of ten feet from -the right-of-way line so
established.
3. Fire .retardant roofing materials shall be required for
all structures.
