Home My WebLink AboutReso 2021-036 - Adopt the MOU and schedule of wage rates between the COR and the Redding Peach Officers Association, effective 03-03-21 RESOLUTION NO. 2021-036 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND SCHEDULE OF WAGE RATES BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND THE REDDING PEACE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION, EFFECTIVE MARCH 3, 2021 WHEREAS, Redding Peace Officers' Association has been formally recognized as the majority representative of an appropriate unit of employees, as set forth in Section 2.1 of Article 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the designated representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the designated representatives of Redding Peace Officers' Association, as required by the provisions of the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act of 1968; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandum of Understanding and Schedule of Wage Rates is hereby approved and shall be effective March 3, 2021.
