HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 91-466 - Establish loading and parking zone at the Redding Muni Airport RESOLUTION NO. `7/�11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISHING LOADING AND PARKING ZONES AT THE REDDING MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. WHEREAS, Section 21113 of the California Vehicle Code authorizes a municipality, pursuant to the action of its legislative body, to establish traffic regulations upon the driveways or grounds of any municipal institution; and WHEREAS, the Airports Commission of the City of Redding has recommended to the City Council that certain parking regulations be established at the Redding Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, City Council has considered such recommendation, and deems it to be in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Redding to adopt same; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1. That loading and parking zones are hereby established at the Redding Municipal Airport as designated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. t S` 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the purposes of this Resolution. 3 . That no person shall thereafter park contrary to said signs and markings at said Airport.
