A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
CITYLINK SUBSCRIBER SERVICE ADDENDUM DATED OCTOBER 10,
1991, BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND INFORMATION FOR
PUBLIC AFFAIRS, INC. , EXTENDING THE TERM THROUGH
NOVEMBER 30, 1992, PURSUANT TO THE RATE SCHEDULE
ATTACHED.
WHEREAS, the CITYLINK Subscriber Agreement between the City of
Redding and Information for Public Affairs, Inc. expires on
November 30 , 1991; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City
of Redding to continue subscribing to the CITYLINK service for a
further term of one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the CITYLINK SUBSCRIBER
SERVICE ADDENDUM attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, extending the term of the Citylink Subscriber Service
Agreement through November 30, 1992, pursuant to the Rate Schedule
attached.
2 . The total base fee payable under said Addendum dated
October 10 , 1991, is $1,995 .00 , payable on December 1 , 1991.
3 . All other terms and conditions of the Subscriber Service
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect through
November 30 , 1992.

4 . The City Manager of the City of Redding is hereby
authorized and directed to sign said Addendum on behalf of the City
of Redding, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
attest the signature of the City Manager and to impress the
official seal of the City of Redding thereto.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 5th day of November , 1991, and was duly adopted at
said meeting by the following vote:

CITYLINK SUBSCRIBER
SERVICE ADDENDUM
Agreement made this 10th day of October, 1991, between
Information for Public Affairs, Inc. (IPA) and City of Redding
(Subscriber) , a member of-the League of California Cities (the
League) .
I. ELEMENTS OF SERVICE. All the elements of service provided
will be extended for an additional twelve month period
through the last day of November, 1992 .
II. PAYMENT SCHEDULE. The total base fee payable under this
extension is $1, 995 . 00, and is to be paid in advance. Any
use fees for services in addition to those included in the
base fee shall be billed monthly in accordance with the
attached Rate Schedule Addendum.

RATE SCHEDULE ADDENDUM
CONNECT TIME. Connect time in addition to that provided in the
contract will be billed at the rate of $ .70 per minute ($42 per
hour) for each minute of additional connect time.
At Subscriber option, additional connect time may be pre-
purchased in minimum blocks of 12 hours at $300 . *
USER LOGINS. Additional logins (including one set of user
guides) may be purchased at the rate of $5 per month ($60
annually) per each login. Logins permit access by more than one
user under Subscriber' s agreement, and provide separate
accounting for connect time used by each separate login.
TRAINING. Training at Subscriber' s location may be purchased at
a cost of $250 per half day plus travel expenses . Up to eight
persons from Subscriber' s offices may attend a training session.
USER MATERIALS. Subscriber may order additional user materials
as follows :
User Guide package $25 per set
Alpha Index and Keyword List $25 per set
Both of the above $40 per set
CALIFORNIA DIRECTORIES. Subscriber may order additional copies
of California directories at $50 per copy.
STATE NET also offers National Directories and other
publications . Call us for information.
* Additional purchase orders for such block purchases must be
received by IPA no later than the last working day of the
month to be applicable usage in the subsequent month.
