A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPATIBLE TAB FURNITURE
FROM OFFICE PLANNING GROUP, NOT TO EXCEED $15,800.00,
PURSUANT TO REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION
4.20.120(H) (2) , AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION.
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 1990-91 Budget provides for the
purchase of office equipment for the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, there is need for the purchase of additional work-
station furniture for the Administrative Unit of the Police
Department, to integrate with existing work stations; and
WHEREAS, the existing modular furniture in the Police
Department is TAB; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of additional TAB modular furniture
will provide the capability of combining the furniture in
different configurations for the most effective use of available
space; and
WHEREAS, staff has advised Council that there is only one
available source, namely Office Planning Group, that can supply
the necessary TAB furniture to the City that is compatible with
existing modular furniture;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding as follows:
1. Council finds and declares that there is only one
available source, Office Planning Group, that can supply the

necessary TAB furniture which is compatible with existing modular
furniture.
2. Pursuant to Redding Municipal Code Section
4. 20 .120(H) ( 2) , Council hereby authorizes the purchase of the
necessary TAB furniture for the Administrative Unit of the Police
Department from Office Planning Group in an amount not to exceed
$15,800 .00 .
3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary documentation on behalf of the City of
Redding; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest the
signature of the City Manager and affix the seal of the City of
Redding thereto.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 17th day of September , 1991, and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
