A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING L%
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A 60' X
252.82' PORTION OF THE ROSALINE AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY
ADJACENT TO 2000 AND 2010 ROSALINE AVENUE (A-3-91) .
WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways,
and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code
Section 8300 , et seq. ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that, subject to the condition set forth in paragraph
2 below, the hereinafter described real property is not necessary
for present or prospective street right-of-way purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding
hereby resolves and orders as follows:
1. City Council makes the following findings in connection
herewith:
( a) The project is compatible with the Redding General
Plan;
(b) The project will not significantly alter the
existing land form;
(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding
land use; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding
Municipal Code.
2 . That certain real property in the City of Redding,
County of Shasta, State of California, being a 60 ' x 252. 82'
portion of the Rosaline Avenue Right-of-Way adjacent to 2000 and
2010 Rosaline Avenue, as the same is more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" and shown on the maps attached hereto and incorpo- +�

rated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby vacated and
abandoned, subject to the following condition:
(a) Construction or grading will not occur outside of the
existing fill-material boundary ( i.e. , the 580 feet
above mean sea level boundary at the top of bank of the
drainage) .
3 . The City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is
directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested
to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in
the office of the Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 3rd day of September, 1991, and was
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
