HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 91-270 - Amending Reso 90-546, partially amending Reso 91-103, 91-122, 91-123, 91-129, 91-171, and 91-250 deleting existing as of 07/06/91 and establish new effective 07/07/91I r i RESOLUTION NO. 91- 270 i A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-546, PARTIALLY AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NOS. 91-103 , 91-122, 91-123, 91-129, 91-171, AND 91-250 BY: (1) DELETING THE EXISTING EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY- FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT, JULY 6, 1991; AND (2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE JULY 7, 1991, WITH AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN RECRUITMENT FOR AN ELECTRIC UTILITY POWER PLANT MANAGER. WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Plan established by Resolution No. 90-546, partially amended by Resolution Nos. 91-103 , 91-122, 91- 123 , 91-129, 91-171, and 91-250; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended that Resolution No. 90-546 as amended by Resolution Nos. 91-103 , 91-122, 91-123 , 91-129 , 91- 171, and 91-250 be further amended by ( 1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, July 6 , 1991; and ( 2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference effective July 7 , 1991 , with authorization to begin recruitment for an Electric Utility Power Plant Manager; and WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that: ADDED BY RESOLUTION #91-458 i 1. Staff is hereby authorized to begin recruitment for an Electric Utility Power Plant Manager. 2. Resolution No. 90-546 as amended by Resolution Nos. 91- 103, 91-122, 91-123 , 91-129, 91-171, and 91-250 be and hereby is amended by ( 1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay- for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, July 6 , 1991; and ( 2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto effective July 7 , 1991.
