RESOLUTION NO. 91- 17/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-546, PARTIALLY AMENDED BY
RESOLUTION NOS. 91-103, 91-122, 91-123, AND 91-129 BY:
(1) DELETING THE EXISTING EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-
FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS OF MIDNIGHT,
MARCH 30, 1991; AND
(2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER ESTABLISHING A NEW
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY
PLAN EFFECTIVE MARCH 31, 1991, WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF THE CITY CLERK (ELECTED OFFICIAL) AND CITY
TREASURER (ELECTED OFFICIAL) WHOSE SALARY LEVEL OF
$2254 AND $2174 RESPECTIVELY SHALL BE RETROACTIVE
TO JANUARY 6, 1991.
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Plan established by Resolution No.
90-546, partially amended by Resolution Nos. 91-103 , 91-122,
91-123 , and 91-129 ; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended that Resolution No. 90-546 as
amended by Resolution Nos. 91-103 , 91-122 , 91-123 , and 91-129 be
further amended by ( 1) deleting the existing Executive Management
Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, March 30, 1991;
and ( 2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
effective March 31, 1991, WITH THE EXCEPTION of the City Clerk
and City Treasurer whose salary level of $2254 and $2174
respectively shall be retroactive to January 6, 1991; and

WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation; ..xd
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that Resolution No. 90-546 as amended by
Resolution Nos. 91-103 , 91-122, 91-123 , and 91-129 be and hereby

is amended by ( 1) deleting the existing Executive Management Pay-
for-Performance Salary Plan as of midnight, March 30, 1991; and
( 2) immediately thereafter establishing a new Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto effective March 31, 1991, WITH THE
EXCEPTION of the City Clerk and City Treasurer whose salary level
of $2254 and $2174 respectively shall be retroactive to January
6, 1991.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 7th day of May, 1991, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
