RESOLUTION NO. ! ��
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING THE ROAD IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
REDDING AND LAKE KESWICK ESTATES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as
follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
approves the attached Road Improvement Agreement between the City
of Redding and Lake Keswick Estates Development Corporation for
participation in road improvements identified in the Quartz Hill
Area Plan; and
2. That the Mayor of the City of Redding is hereby authorized
and directed to sign said Road Improvement Agreement on behalf of
the City of Redding, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to attest the signature of the Mayor and to impress the
official seal of the City of Redding on the aforesaid Agreement,
when appropriate.
3 . That a true copy of said Agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 2nd day of April , 1991, and was duly adopted at
said meeting by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None

ROAD IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this day of ,
1991 , by and between the CITY OF REDDING, a Municipal Corporation,
hereinafter referred to as "City, " and LAKE KESWICK ESTATES
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a California Corporation, hereinafter
referred to as "Owner/Developer" :
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Owner/Developer agrees, in accordance with the
requirements of the CITY, to participate in road improvements
identified in the Quartz Hill Area Plan. These improvements
include construction of a new river crossing, reconstruction of the
Lake Boulevard/Market Street intersection, Quartz Hill Road
reconstruction north of Lake Redding Estates, Market Street bridge
improvements , and Diestelhorst Bridge improvements; and
WHEREAS, this Agreement shall encumber the following-described
property:
Parcels 2 and 3 as shown on Parcel Map No. 603-78 , being
a portion of the Northeast quarter of Section 21,
Township 32 North, Range 5 West, M.D.M. , filed in the
office of the County Recorder on December 15 , 1978 , in
Book 17 of Parcel Maps at page 14 , Shasta County Records.
TOGETHER WITH an easement for private road and utility
purposes over Roxanna Trail as shown on said Parcel Map
No. 603-78; and
WHEREAS, Owner/Developer shall pay City a fee per each lot
developed on Parcels 2 and 3 of Parcel Map No. 603-78 in the amount
of $1 , 000 . 00 (One Thousand and 00/100 Dollars) per lot, as
established by the Quartz Hill Area Plan; and
WHEREAS , upon deed recordation of individual lot sales, the
i above-mentioned fee shall be paid by Owner/Developer through an
escrow company to the City' s trust account No. 6514-17 ; and
WHEREAS, upon the receipt of the payment for each lot, the
City shall issue and provide to an escrow company a Release which
indicates that such payment has been made.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Agreement on the day and year first written above.
