A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT ON CITY OF REDDING LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 17 FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 92-163 , City Council approved a
Report of the Engineer relating to City of Redding LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 17, prepared pursuant to Streets and
Highways Code Section 22623 , describing the improvements therein
and giving notice of and fixing the time and place of the public
hearing on the question of the levying of an assessment in said
District for fiscal year 1992-93 ; and
WHEREAS, an illustration of the area, encompassed by said
District is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference;
and
WHEREAS, said public hearing, duly and properly noticed,
commenced at the City Council Chambers, 1313 California Street,
Redding, California, on May 5, 1992, and was concluded prior to
the adoption of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this
Resolution have occurred;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding does
hereby resolve, determine, and order as follows:
1. That the matters set forth above are true and correct.
2. That the improvements specified in the Engineer' s
Report hereinabove referred to, which Report is on file with the
City Clerk of the City of Redding, are hereby ordered to be
completed.
3 . That Council hereby expressly overrules any and all
protests filed objecting to the proposed improvements specified
herein, or the assessment levied hereby.

4. That the assessment diagram contained in said
Engineer' s Report, and the assessment of Sixteen and 51/100
Dollars ( $16 . 51) for each lot located within said District, are
hereby adopted and confirmed, and that said assessments be and
hereby are levied for the 1992-93 fiscal year.
5. That the City Clerk shall forthwith transfer to the
Auditor and the Recorder/Assessor of Shasta County a certified
copy of this Resolution and a certified copy of the assessment
diagram contained in the Engineer' s Report.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 5th day of May, 1992 , and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Dahl
