Home My WebLink AboutReso 92-157 - LMD No 5 - River Park Highlands Subdivision - Intent of COR to Levy & Collect assessments for FY 1992-93 0 t 0 • RESOLUTION NO. 92-/!5--7 LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 5 RIVER PARK HIGHLANDS SUBDIVISION A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93. WHEREAS, City Council, by Resolution of even date, initiated proceedings for the levy of assessments for fiscal year 1992-93; and WHEREAS, City Council intends to levy the special assessment upon the land equally amongst the 176 lots/parcels (see paragraph V.B. of the Engineer's Report for list) of the River Park Highlands Subdivision which encompass the District; and WHEREAS, an illustration of the area encompassed by said District is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and WHEREAS, no costs for the original improvements will be assessed against land within the District; all costs of improvements being a condition of the development of said Subdivision; and WHEREAS, only costs for maintenance of landscaping, repairs to the irrigation system, electric and water charges, replacement of vegetation as necessary, and any and all incidental expenses, including administrative costs, in connection therewith will be assessed; and WHEREAS, the Report of the Engineer, on file with the City Clerk, contains a full and detailed description of the improvements,the boundaries of the District, and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots within said District; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1. That all of the above recitals are true and correct. 2. That the Report of the Engineer on file with the City Clerk, containing a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the District, and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots/parcels within the District, is hereby approved by Council. 3. That a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 1992, at the hour of 7 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chambers located at 1313 California Street, Redding, California, to address the levying of the proposed assessment for fiscal year 1992-93.
