A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF REDDING AMENDING ITS SCHEDULE OF FEES AND
SERVICE CHARGES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding is
charged with the responsibility of establishing municipal
policies
to guide the various functions of the City and, where necessary, to
establish procedures by which said functions are performed; and
j WHEREAS, regulatory policies established by the City
i Council are usually adopted by Ordinance and included in the
Municipal Code. However, other policies are also established which
i

statements, adopted by Resolutions of the City Council, need to be
i consolidated in a reference document for easy access; and
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1988, by Resolution No. 88-364,
the City Council adopted a Schedule of Fees and Service Charges,
which Schedule has been amended by subsequent Resolutions No. 88-
410 , 89-056, 89-092, 89-196, 89-244, 89-251, 90-224, 90-316, 91-

and 92-248; and
WHEREAS, under Resolution No. 88-364, the City Manager is
authorized and directed to revise, supplement, and maintain said
Schedule of Fees and Service Charges so that to the greatest extent
possible, the Schedule will be a comprehensive list of fees for
City permits and services;
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to further amend said Fee
Schedule to increase certain fees and service charges and levy new
fees and service charges, as indicated on Attachment A, Proposed
Adjustment Worksheet, and Attachment B, proposed Schedule of Fees
and Service Charges.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Redding that the current Schedule of Fees and

CITY OF RIDDING
SCHEDULE OF FEES AND SERVICE CHARGES
PROPOSED ADJUSTMENT WORKSHEET
(Fee amounts in dollars unless otherwise indicated.)
NOTE: Fees identified with "1" were reset or added based on analysis by City staff.
Planning Division fees identified with "Z" have significant City subsidies and
have been increased by approximately 15% of the true cost of the service.
Fees identified with "3" are set by mandate and have not been reviewed.
All other fees were increased by approximately 3.8% (the CPI adjustment for FYE 3/92)
or remain unchanged (a) because they were increased or levied in the last six months,
(b) because they are currently under study, or (c) because of rounding.
The present fee level is shown in parentheses to the right of the proposed fee level.
New fees/service charges are shown in bold.
