A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDDING:
( 1) RESCINDING, AS OF MIDNIGHT, OCTOBER 24, 1992,
RESOLUTION NOS. 90-546, 91-103, 91-122, 91-123,
91-129, 91-171, 91-250, 91-251, 91-270, 91-458,
91-516, 91-531, 92-76, 92-369, 92-370, AND 92-436 ,
WHICH CONTAIN THE CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AND THE CURRENT
EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN;
AND
( 2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER, ESTABLISHING A NEW
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY
PLAN EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 25, 1992.
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan and the Employee
Classification Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established
by Resolution No. 90-546, and partially amended by Resolution
numbers 91-103 , 91-122, 91-123 , 91-129 , 91-171, 91-250, 91-251,
91-270, 91-458, 91-516, 91-531, 92-76, 92-369, 92-370, and 92-
436; and
WHEREAS, based upon the recommendations of the Director of
Personnel in the accompanying Report to City Council, staff has
recommended that (by separate Resolutions) a new Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan and a new Employee
Classification Schedule and Salary Plan be implemented effective
October 25, 1992; and
WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendations;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that:

( 1) Resolution numbers 90-546, 91-103, 91-122, 91-123, 91-
129, 91-171, 91-250, 91-251, 91-270, 91-458, 91-516,
91-531, 92-76, 92-369, 92-370, and 92-436 which
contain the current Executive Management Pay-for-
Performance Salary Plan and the current Employee
Classification Schedule and Salary Plan, be rescinded
as of midnight, October 24, 1992; and
( 2) Immediately thereafter, a new Executive Management Pay-
for Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be
established effective October 25, 1992.
For ease of record-keeping, a new Employee Classification
Schedule and Salary Plan is to be adopted, effective October 25,
1992, by concurrent Resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 20th day of October, 1992, and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
