A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
II ENDORSING AND SUPPORTING THE CONTEMPLATED TRIP OF
,i ENTERPRISE STARSHIP TO GERMANY.
I�
WHEREAS, Enterprise Starship is an outstanding musical organization comprised
it of local youth at Enterprise High School; and
I
j WHEREAS, the group is planning a trip to Germany in July 1993; and
;i WHEREAS, the wholesome entertainment provided by Enterprise Starship is
exemplary in providing a positive role model for other young people in a time when
positive role models are needed; and
WHEREAS, it is an honor to the City of Redding and the entire community to have

Enterprise Starship honored with the invitation to perform in Switzerland and Holland,
as well as Germany; and

I� WHEREAS, the support of the City of Redding may be helpful to the Enterprise
I�
Starship group, both in fund raising locally for the trip and in making official contacts
with other cities and organizations during the trip;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding
applauds Enterprise Starship for having been honored with this invitation and offers its
full encouragement to the group, both in fund raising and in the international friendship
impact that will arise from this trip.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 3rd day of November,
1992, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
