A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A 60-FOOT BY
234-FOOT SECTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 3085 CROSSROADS
DRIVE (BETWEEN THE END OF CROSSROADS DRIVE AND
STILLWATER HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION (A-11-92) .

WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, .
and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code
Section 8300, et seq. ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that the hereinafter described real property is not
necessary for present or prospective street right-of-way
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding
hereby resolves and orders as follows:
1. City Council makes the following findings in connection
herewith:
( a) The project is compatible with the Redding General
Plan;
(b) The project will not significantly alter the
existing land form;
(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding
land use; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding
Municipal Code.
2. That certain real property in the City of Redding,
County of Shasta, State of California, being a 60-foot by 234- N

foot section of right-of-way at 3085 Crossroads Drive (between If
the end of Crossroads Drive and Stillwater Heights Subdivision) ,
as the same is more particularly described in Exhibit A and shown

on the map attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned as a street
right-of-way.
3 . The City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is
directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested
to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in
the office of the Shasta County Assessor/Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the lst day of December 1992, and was
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Anderson, Arness, Kehoe & Moss
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None

A-11-92
The southerly 60 feet of Parcel 6 as shown on that certain map filed for record
in Book 27 of Parcel Maps at page 28, Shasta County Records, and labeled
"60' Future Right-of-Way," reserving therefrom over the entire area a
public-service easement and public-utility easement and over the following
described parcel an easement for emergency and pedestrian access:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Parcel 6 and running thence North
89149' 13" West, on and along the south boundary of said parcel , 234.39 feet;
thence leaving said south boundary, from a tangent bearing North 71159'05" East,
on a 50.00 foot radius curve, through a central angle of 63114'26" , a distance
of 55.19 feet; thence leaving said curve South 66106' 59" East, 37.48 feet; thence
South 89°49' 13" East, 134.18 feet; thence North 72150"25" East 33.60 feet; thence
South 00110'47" West on and along the east boundary of said parcel 35.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
