RESOLUTION NO. 5F-3 — f
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE 1800
BLOCK OF LINDEN AVENUE TO THE REDDING REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS

WHEREAS, the City owns surplus property located at Linden Avenue between Railroad Avenue and
West Street described as Assessor's Parcels No. 104-420-32 and 104-440-01; and
I
WHEREAS, said property is located within the Market Street Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Redding Redevelopment Agency wishes to facilitate the development of affordable
housing within its Market Street Redevelopment Project Area; and

WHEREAS, the Redding Redevelopment Agency wishes to purchase said City property to effect said
affordable housing development; and

WfIEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to sell said property to the
Redding Redevelopment Agency;
,I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that
1. The City Council of the City of Redding hereby approves the sale of property to the Redding
Redevelopment Agency; and
2. The Mayor of the City of Redding is hereby authorized and directed to sign all necessary documents
in connection with the sale.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Redding on the 6th day of July 1993, and was duly adopted at
j said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Anderson, Bahl, Kehoe, Hoss and Arness
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
