A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE REDDING REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR LAND LOCATED AT 1291 DANA DRIVE , NEEDED FOR THE STATE ROUTE 44 RAMP RELOCATION PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City of Redding and the Redding Redevelopment Agency desire the construction of new on- and off-ramps from State Route 44 to Dana Drive; and WHEREAS, the City of Redding has exercised its power of Eminent Domain on behalf of the Agency to acquire Assessor's Parcels Numbers 71-160-40 and Number 71-160-36 for right-of- way for the project; and WHEREAS, the Agency funded all costs of acquisition of the property; and WHEREAS, the Final Order of Condemnation was filed in the name of the City of Redding and title vests in the City of Redding; and WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Redding to quitclaim its interest in said parcels to the Redding Redevelopment Agency; NOW, THEREFORE, BE/T RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding hereby authorizes and directs the Mayor to sign the quitclaim deed, a true copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, transferring title of said land to the Redding Redevelopment Agency. / HEREBY CERT/FY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Redding City Council on the 15th day of June , 1993. } AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Anderson, Dahl, .Kehoe, Moss and Arness NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None CARL ARNESS, Mayor City of Redding ATTEST: CONNIE STROHMAYER, 57yerk FORM APPROVED: r � ( RANDA A.
