A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 92-438 AS OF MIDNIGHT, JULY 3, 1993, AND ESTABLISHING A
NEW EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE JULY 4,
1993.
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Employee Classification
Schedule and Salary Plan established by Resolution No. 92-438; and
WHEREAS, for the reasons set forth in the accompanying Report to City Council,
the Electric Department has recommended that a new Employee Classification Schedule
and Salary Plan be established as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, effective
July 4, 1993, to add the following Job Titles: Power Plant Utility Worker, Power
Plant Warehouse Worker, Power Plant Equipment Operator, Power Plant Maintenance
Mechanic, Power Plant Operator, and Instrument and Electrical Technician; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of
Redding to adopt such recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redding that Resolution No. 92-438 be rescinded as of midnight, July 3, 1993; and
that a new Employee Classification Schedule and Salary Plan be established as set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, effective
July 4, 1993.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 6th day of July,
1993, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
