A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF REDDING TO LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1993-94.

WHEREAS, on this date the City Council adopted its
Resolution initiating proceedings for the levy of assessments for
fiscal year 1993-94, and directed the filing of the Engineer' s
Report; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has filed his Report with the City
Clerk, setting forth a full and detailed description of the
improvements; the boundaries of the District, which is generally
located north of Hawley Road, east of Twin View Boulevard, and
west of Churn Creek Road, and any zones therein; any bonds or
notes to be issued; and the proposed assessments upon the
assessable lots/remaining parcels of land within the District;
and
WHEREAS, only costs for maintenance of landscaping, repairs
to the irrigation system, electric and water charges, replacement
of vegetation as necessary, and any and all incidental expenses,
including administrative costs, in connection therewith will be
assessed; and \
WHEREAS, City Council intends to levy the special assessment
upon the land equally amongst the above-mentioned lots/remaining
parcels which encompass the District; and

WHEREAS, a public meeting will be held June 15, 1993,
'i pursuant to Section 54954. 6 of the Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
' the City of Redding as follows:
1. That all of the above recitals are true and correct.
2 . That the Report of the Engineer on file with the City
Clerk, containing a full and detailed description of the
improvements; the boundaries of the District and any zones
! therein; any bonds or notes to be issued; and the proposed

assessments upon the assessable lots/remaining parcels within
'! said District, is hereby approved by the City Council as filed.
3. That a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 6,
1993 , at the hour of 7 : 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers located at 1313
California Street, Redding, California, to address the levying of
!j the proposed assessment for fiscal year 1993-94.

4. That the City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing
by causing this Resolution to be published, posted, and mailed as
provided in Section 22556 of the Streets and Highways Code.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 4th day of May 1993 , and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
