Z,g' G� A8SE$$0R-REC0RDER$0..�,.EE A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A SURPLUS DITCH EASEMENT AND A SURPLUS PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT LOCATED BETWEEN LUCERNE COURT AND CREEKSIDE STREET (A-10-92) . WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code Section 8300, et seq. ; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and determines that the hereinafter described surplus ditch easement and surplus pedestrian easement are not necessary for present or prospective drainage and pedestrian purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding hereby resolves and orders as follows: 1. The City Council makes the following findings in connection herewith: ( a) The project is compatible with the Redding General Plan; (b) The project will not significantly alter the existing land form; ( c) The project is compatible with the surrounding land use; and (d) The project is compatible with the Redding Municipal Code. 2. That certain real property in the City of Redding, County of Shasta, State of California, being the surplus ditch easement and the surplus pedestrian easement located between ' Lucerne Court and Creekside Street as described in Exhibit "A" �J a� . .�994P��E452 and the map attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned as drainage and pedestrian easements. 3 . The City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in the office of the Shasta County Assessor/Recorder.
