RESOLUTION NO. 94---'/3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING FINDING THAT,
INTER ALTA, FINAL EIR 6-92 ADEQUATELY ADDRESSES THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS
OF THE SOUTH AIRPORT 115/12KV TRANSMISSION PROJECT; AND ADOPTING A
MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM, THE PREFERRED ROUTE, AND
SUBSITE A FOR THE PROJECT.
WHEREAS, on January 15, 1994, by Resolution PC 94-2, the Planning Commission
approved a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, and certified that Final
Environmental Impact Report EIR 6-92 for the South Airport 115/12kV Project (Project)
meets the standards of adequacy established in the California Environmental Quality
Act; and
' WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that the City Council adopt
Preferred Route A and Subsite A as the route for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and considered the information contained in
FEIR 6-92 prior to approving development of the Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
jRedding finds that FEIR 6-92 adequately addresses the environmental impacts of the
South Airport 115/12kV Transmission Project, and that changes or alterations have
been required in or incorporated into said Project which mitigate or avoid the
significant environmental effects thereof as identified in FEIR-6-92.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby adopts (1) the attached
Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, and (2) Preferred Route A and Subsite A
of FEIR 6-92 as the route of the South Airport 115/12kV Transmission Project.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the lst day of
_Tiarch , 1994, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
