A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
OBJECTING TO THE INCLUSION OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBERS 115-
170-01 AND 115-250-01 IN THE SHASTA COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR'S
DELINQUENT TAX SALE SCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY 18, 1994.
WHEREAS, in City of Redding v. Max R. Hammon and Marcella Hammon,
Shasta County Superior Court Action No. 103150, the City of Redding was
granted a Judgment to Foreclose Lien in the amount of $397,181 . 57 plus
costs as set forth therein, levied pursuant to Lake Keswick Sewer
Assessment District No. 1982-6, and the right to sell the real property
known as Assessor' s Parcel No. 115-170-01 to recover said lien and

costs; and

WHEREAS, subsequent to the filing of a Complaint to Foreclose Lien
of Assessments in City of Redding v. Louis Roesner, Shasta County
Superior Court Action No. 105933 , Louis Roesner executed a Grant Deed
of the real property known as Assessor ' s Parcel No. 115-250-01 in favor
of the City of Redding in lieu of his delinquent assessments,
penalties, and charges levied pursuant to Lake Keswick Sewer Assessment
District No. 1982-6; and
WHEREAS, the Shasta County Tax Collector has placed both parcels
on the delinquent tax sale list, scheduled for February 18, 1994; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code Section 3695, it is
necessary for the City Council to file a certified copy of a resolution
with the Shasta County Tax Collector and the Board of Supervisors
objecting to said tax sale to assure that the delinquent assessment

liens on the above parcels are preserved; if it does not, it is deemed
that the City has consented to the sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Redding, pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code Section 3695, HEREBY
OBJECTS to the tax sale to be held by the Shasta County Tax Collector
on February 18, 1994, with respect to Assessor' s Parcel numbers
' 115-170-01 and 115-250-01.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to
immediately file a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by
the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, with the Shasta
County Tax Collector and the Board of Supervisors.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and
read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on
the 1st day of February, 1994, and was duly adopted at said meeting by
the following vote:
