RESOLUTION NO. 94-W
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OR HIS
DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE TO SIGN ALL PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENT APPLICATIONS AND AGREEMENTS TO THE STATE-
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM AGREEMENT NO.
SLTPP-5068 BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 140, effective March 11 , 1988,
established a program known as the State-Local Transportation
Partnership Program, with the intent of the legislature to
appropriate funds to pay a percentage of costs to local agencies
who construct transportation projects that reduce congestion; and
WHEREAS, since that time the State has responded favorably
to applications from the City of Redding under State-Local Entity
Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5068 entered into between the City of
Redding and the State of California, Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, all potential projects are submitted by the
Department of Public Works to the City Council for approval prior
to submittal of applications to the State; and
WHEREAS, after obtaining City Council approval, it is
necessary for program supplements to the master agreement to be
submitted by the City prior to project approval by the State; and
WHEREAS, to expedite the process, the Director of Public
Works is requesting Council approval to sign all program
supplement applications and agreements to the State-Local
Transportation Partnership Program Agreement No. SLTPP-5068; and
WHEREAS, Council approves said request;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council
hereby authorizes the Director of Public Works or his designated
representative to sign all program supplement applications and
agreements associated with State-Local Transportation Partnership
Program Agreement No. SLTPP-5068 entered into between the City of
Redding and the State of California, Department of
Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to attest the signature of the Director or his
designated representative, and to impress the official seal of
the City of Redding on the necessary documentation.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council on the 6th day of September-, 1994, by the following
vote:
