HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 94-254 - Rescinding Reso 94-249 as of midnight, 08/27/94 & establshing a new Executive Mgmt Pay for Perf salary pln for unrepresented Empl Effective 08/28/94 RESOLUTION NO. 94-oC$ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 94- 249 AS OF MIDNIGHT, AUGUST 27, 1994, AND ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES EFFECTIVE AUGUST 28, 1994. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Plan established this date by Resolution No. 94-249; and WHEREAS, the Director of Personnel has recommended that a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees be established in order to delete the classifications of Manager of Art and History Museum, Public Information Officer, and Assistant Museum Conservator; and reestablish the Electric Utility Demand Side Management Coordinator classification at the former salary range of $2,902 - $4,580; and WHEREAS, the Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such recommendations, effective August 28, 1994; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council that Resolution No. 94-249 be rescinded as of midnight, August 27, 1994; and that a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan be established as set forth in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof, effective August 28, 1994.
