HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 94-300 - Rescinding Reso 94-254 as of Midnight, 10/08/94 & Establish new Executive Mgmt performance salary effective 10/09/1994 RESOLUTION NO. 94- 309 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-254 AS OF MIDNIGHT, OCTOBER 8, 1994, AND ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 9, 1994. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Plan established by Resolution No. 94-254; and WHEREAS, for the reasons set forth in the accompanying Report to City Council, the General Services Department has recommended that a new unrepresented classification titled Resource Recovery Manager at a salary range of $2,639 to $4,165 be established; and WHEREAS, the Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such recommendation, effective October 9, 1994; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council that Resolution No. 94-254 be rescinded as of midnight, October 8, 1994; and that a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan be established as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, effective October 9, 1994, to establish a new unrepresented classification of Resource Recovery Manager at a monthly salary range of $2,639 to $4,165. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 18th day of October, 1994, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P.
