HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 94-360 - Amending General Plan of the COR by adopting General Plan Amendment 5-94 RESOLUTION NO. 94-_3 % A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDDING BY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 5-94. WHEREAS, following the required public hearing therefor, the Planning Commission of the City of Redding recommended to the City Council that the Land Use Element of the City' s General Plan be amended by incorporating therein the changes contained in General Plan Amendment 5-94 ; and WHEREAS, following the required notice in accordance with law, the City Council held a public hearing on said recom- mendation, and has carefully considered the evidence at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1. With regard to General Plan Amendment 5-94, the City Council has reviewed and approved the Negative Declaration, finding that the project has no substantial impact upon the environment and an environmental impact report is not necessary. 2. The City Council hereby amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Redding by incorpo- rating therein the changes contained in General Plan Amendment 5-94 as shown on the map attached hereto and � 0y incorporated herein by reference. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution amending the General Plan of the City of Redding by adopting GPA-5-94 was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 20th day of December, 1994, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P.
