HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 94-358 - Accepting Main & Oper the 3 signals at intersection of Butte St & Auditorum Dr between COR & Caltrans RESOLUTION NO. 94-L- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION THE THREE SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF BUTTE STREET AND AUDITORIUM DRIVE PER THE MASTER AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND CALTRANS RELATIVE TO MAINTENANCE OF SHARED SIGNALS.. WHEREAS, the developer, National Medical Enterprises, has satisfactorily completed the installation of all improvements for the construction of three signals at the intersection of Butte/ Auditorium, Park Marina/SR299 on-ramp, and Auditorium/SR299 ramps, and paid all fees, as a portion of the offsite mitigations for the closure of Butte Street and Liberty Street in conjunction with the Redding Medical Expansion (UP-5-92) ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the master agreement between the City of Redding and Caltrans relative to the maintenance of shared signals, the signals at the Park Marina/SR299 ramps and the Auditorium/SR2 9 9 ramps will be maintained by Caltrans; and the signals at Butte/Auditorium are to be maintained by the City; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of Redding has recommended that the signals at Butte/Auditorium, be accepted by the City for maintenance; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this recommendation and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to approve same; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding, pursuant to the master agreement between the City of Redding and Caltrans, that the three signals at the �A) `'n intersection of Butte Street and Auditorium Drive, as shown on the attached vicinity map, be and hereby are accepted by the City of Redding for maintenance. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 20th day of December, 1994, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P.
