HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 95-006 - Rescinding Reso 94-338 as of 12:00am, 01/03/95, & establishing a new executive mgmt pay for perf salary pln for unrepresented emp eff 01/04/95 • S RESOLUTION NO. 95 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 94-338 AS OF MIDNIGHT, JANUARY 3, 1995, AND ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES EFFECTIVE JANUARY 4, 1995. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Plan established by Resolution No. 94-338; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Electric and Personnel Departments that a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees be established as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, effective January 4, 1995, in order to delete the classification of Electric Utility Power Plant Manager and to establish a new classification title of Electric Utility Power Production Manager; and WHEREAS, it is further recommended that the Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto be established in order to reflect the salary range for the City Manager; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendations; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that Resolution No. 94-338 be rescinded as of midnight, January 3, 1995; and that a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan be established as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, effective January 4, 1995. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 3rd day of January, 1995, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P.
