A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ORDERING THE VACATION OF THAT CERTAIN UNIMPROVED RIGHT-OF-WAY
FOR STREET PURPOSES ON PROPERTY LOCATED EAST OF TWIN VIEW
BOULEVARD, WEST OF SALT CREEK, AND 900 FEET NORTH OF OASIS
ROAD (A-9-94) .
WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and
Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code Section 8320,
et seq. ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the unimproved
right-of-way for street purposes on property located east of Twin View
Boulevard, west of Salt Creek, and 900 feet north of Oasis Road, is not
necessary for present or prospective right-of-way purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
FINDS, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS as follows:
1 . The Council makes the following findings in connection herewith:
(a) The project is compatible with the Redding General Plan;

(b) The project will not significantly alter the existing land
form;

(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding land use; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding Municipal Code.
2. The following street right-of-way located in the City of Redding,
County of Shasta, State of California, be and hereby is vacated as
a street right-of-way:
That certain unimproved right-of-way for street purposes
on property located east of Twin View Boulevard, west of
Salt Creek, and 900 feet north of Oasis Road, as more
particularly described in Exhibit A and shown
crosshatched on Exhibit B attached hereto and made a
part hereof .
3 . The City Clerk is directed to record a certified copy of this
Resolution, attested by the Clerk under seal, in the office of the
Shasta County Assessor/Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced,
read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Redding on the 4th day of April , 1995, by the following vote:

Commencing at the Southeast corner of Parcel 4 as shown on that certain map recorded in
Book 28 of Parcel Maps at page 34, Shasta County Records; thence on and along the South
boundary of said parcel S89023'1 9"W, 941.78 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence running
the following bearings and distances: continuing along the Westerly extension of said boundary
S89023'1 9"W, 130.27 feet to a point on a curve concave to the Southwest and having a radius
of 1,048 feet; thence, from a tangent bearing N40048'43"W along said curve Northwesterly
12.59 feet through a central angle of 00041'17", thence N41 030'00"W, 440.00 feet; thence,
