A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL. PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9.36 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING LOCATED AT 1211 C STREET, OWNED BY SANDRA LYNN LICARI. WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code provide that all buildings or structures located within the City of Redding which are structurally unsafe or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, decay or other causes which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and thereafter abated as provided therein; and WHEREAS, City of Redding Building Division personnel have made inspections of the structure located on the real property as hereinafter described, and has found the structure to be hazardous to safety, health and public welfare; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor- ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that it is the intention of this City Council to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said structure mentioned herein- above is hereby declared to be a public nuisance as provided by Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code and is hereby ordered to be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Shasta County Recorder for recordation. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 18th day of April 1995, and duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P. PARCEL TWO: An easement for the encroachment of an existing metal shed on a concrete foundation for as long as said shed stands. Said encroachment is across the Westerly line of the property in the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, Township 31 North, Range 4 West, M.D.M. , deeded to the Grantor herein by Deed recorded February 24, 1988 in Book 2379 of Official Records, Page 377, Shasta County Records.
