HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 95-156 - Establishing relocation Appeals Board to hear Complaints - RE: relocation & Appointing 5 most Senior Members of Planning Commision to sit as the Relocation Appeals Board � • RESOLUTION N0. �.S��5�0 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISHING A FiELOCATiON APPEALS BOARD TO HEAR COIVIPLAINTS FROM RESIDENTS WITHIN THE CITY'S REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREAS REGARDING RELOCATION AND APPOINTING THE FIVE MOST SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMNiISSION TO SIT AS THE RELOCATION APPEALS BOARD. WHEREAS, Section 33147.5 of the Community Redevelopment Law requires cities having a redevelopment agency have a relocation appeals board to hear complaints from residents within the agency's project areas regarding relocation; and WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of June 19, 1995, the Redding Redevelopment Agency requested that the City Council of the City of Redding appoint a relocation appeals board in accordance with Section 33147.5 of the Community Redevelopment law; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding hereby establishes the Re�ocation Appeals Board and appoints the five most senior members of the Redding Planning Commission to sit as the Relocation Appeals Board. I NEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and read at a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 18th day of July, 1995, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P• Anderson, R.
