STOWER AND ELAINE MOORE. WHEREAS, the provisions of Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36 provide that all buildings or structures located within the City that are structurally unsafe, or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, decay, or other causes, and which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life, or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council and thereafter abated as provided in said chapter; and WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Redding has made an inspection of the buildings located on the real property described as: Lot 5, Block 6, excepting therefrom the Easterly 12 feet thereof, shown on the map entitled, "Map of Grand View Heights Subdivision, Resubdivision of Abandoned Blocks 3 and 4, Boardman Addition and Portion of P. B. Reading Grant, Shasta County, California," filed in the office of the County Recorder April 19, 1993, in Book 5 of Maps, at page 51, Shasta County Records. and has declared it to be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety, health, and public welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the buildings on the above-mentioned real property are declared to be a public nuisance. The Fire � Marshal and the Board of Appeals are directed to institute abatement proceedings as provided �� , 6 in Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36. � � �;�:���:���������,=�99 '. .�q � � I HEREBY CERTIFI' that the foregoing resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 7tt, day of Nove�e� 1995, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P.
